Tim Costello is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Builder Homesite, Inc., and EX Squared Solutions, Inc. Mr. Costello previously worked for Applied Materials as Vice President, Global Operations, where he also served as VP of Strategic & Technical Programs, VP of Production Engineering, Managing Director for the Common Module Manufacturing & Engineering organization, and Director of Engineering for the mainframe group. Prior to 1993, he held executive and management positions at General Motors Corporation from Strategic Planning to Engineering and Quality Management. In addition Mr. Costello has consulted internationally on the development & implementation of world-class manufacturing, engineering and quality systems. Mr. Costello also serves on the boards of HelioVolt Corporation, a leader in the development on thin film photovoltaic technology; The Shingo Prize for Excellence in Manufacturing, considered the Nobel Prize for manufacturing; The Trust for Public Land of Texas; The Trust for Public Land National Marketing Council; and the Cornell University Engineering Advisory Council. Mr. Costello received his BSME from Cornell University in 1981.
Krishna has over 25 years experience in technology and business management as well as executive leadership experience in multiple companies. As General Manager of EX2 Solutions, Krishna oversees all aspects of the business including delivery, technology, sales and marketing. He engages with our clients to ensure that the products and services we deliver are of the highest possible value. He also routinely consults and advises on technology strategy, and manages subsidiary companies including EX2 Outcoding and EX2 India. He has directed all technology efforts at BHI companies, including development of NewHomeSource.com and the Envision product suite. Prior to joining BHI, he managed technology groups at several companies including Rx.com, MCC, and Danka Omnifax. Krishna served on the board for the Rails to Trails Conservancy, and holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Houston.
Lisa Carolan has over 20 years’ experience in IT consulting. For EX2 Solutions she has managed high profile projects for Bank of America, Network Communications Inc., Lennar Homes, TeleDynamics, TaylorMorrison and many more. These projects have varied from integration solutions to full website implementations with long-term maintenance strategies. In her previous experience, she served as a product manager for business-critical B2B websites of Sony and Hewlett Packard. Lisa serves on the board of Moja Tu, a 501(c)(3) organization providing access to education for disadvantaged students in Kenya. Lisa holds degrees in Russian and Management Information Systems from the University of Iowa.
Kamal has over 20 years of IT experience. His main responsibilities are design, implementation, support and maintenance of EX2 networks & complex IT infrastructure. Kamal also supports our development teams in performance tuning, data science and complex algorithm implementations. Kamal holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
Feng has over 16 years’ experience as a certified system engineer in UNIX and Windows environments. In order to ensure service-level agreements are met, he works with application and database architects to design Web infrastructure including front-end server arrays, SAN storage, 24×7 backup and monitoring. Prior to BHI, Feng managed large UNIX installations for Rx.com and National Instruments. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science from UT Austin and Electrical Engineering from Technische Universitat Berlin.
A dedicated professional with a passion for technology and applying emerging trends into product opportunities, Doug has led globally distributed product delivery teams to support our clients and deliver world class value. His specialties include: web architecture & technology, product strategy and definition, SaaS, near- and off-shore distributed development, product development and project management. In addition to his work at EX2, Doug held leadership positions at SolarWinds and Catapult Systems.
Adam HerrNeckar, Ph.D. has over 20 years of professional information systems and technology experience, including tactical implementation of client enterprise-level software supporting all production operations. Before joining EX2, Adam served as lead software engineer and architect for Cisco Systems supporting mission-critical network infrastructures for Fortune 500 companies. Adam is a Microsoft Certified Professional, a Certified Sitecore Developer, holds US and European patents, and is a published author. Adam earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Texas A&M University, Master of Business Administration from Texas State University, and Doctorate in Information Systems with honors from Nova Southeastern University.
Lax Gani leads our user-centered design (UCD) practice, directing interaction modeling, UI design, and usability testing activities to optimally balance business and customer goals. With over two decades managing software product design, media and marketing, he previously directed online services for Texas Monthly magazine and the Austin Chronicle. Lax holds a degree in Producing for Electronic Media from the Newhouse School at Syracuse University.
Jeremy is a dynamic business leader with more than 20 years of experience executing Fintech and retail growth strategies. Taking an agile approach to developing product roadmaps, user experience, business operations, and go-to-market strategy, he effectively designs programs exceeding demands for partners, clients and users.
Jeremy is also a leader of platform agnostic consortium of experts providing insights, advisory, and acceleration services for blockchain solutions with viable business models. The experts drive Blockchain Transformation™ by enabling the profound and incremental application of technology, processes, and business models leveraging blockchain technologies for positive impact across business, government, and society.
Russ is a well-known former CIO who has spent the last five years as an advisory researcher directly serving clients, while simultaneously understanding the Digital IT model which is now evolving within businesses throughout the world. In 2016 he was named a Top 5 CIO Influencer by Apollo Research and one of the Top 10 CIO advisors in the US.
Russ served as the CIO of the US operations of Tokyo Electron Limited and assisted in building it through numerous acquisitions into a large multi-company entity in the US. Russ also served as the interim CIO over a one year period at an advanced aerospace firm, GDC Technics, which builds head-of-state and VVIP aircraft in partnership with Boeing and Airbus. He oversaw the design and buildout of two new high availability global data centers, the implementation of Oracle ERP and Dassault CAD engineering software, the buildout 1.2 million square feet of manufacturing space, and the integration of several overseas support operations.
Vijay is a transformational leader with over 25 years of executive and technology leadership experience in variety of sectors including utilities, state and local government, IT services, and manufacturing. He has executives and IT teams through effective strategic planning processes to develop vision, strategy, and execution plans. He has effectively led compliance initiates for NERC cyber security, PCI, HIPPA, FISMA, and IRS. He brings a deep experience for security and controls standards including NIST, COBIT and ITIL to operationalize security and control.
Vijay led the IT division for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. During his tenure the team implemented agency wide IT strategic plan; developed IT governance framework over complex agency; drove security and compliance strategy and initiatives. He also led the strategy for statewide ERP and state government level open data initiatives. Vijay also served as the CIO of LCRA, leading the IT and Telecommunications division for the regional water and energy public utility. He implemented organization wide business and IT strategy; governance and roadmap planning. He also lead the end-to-end assessment and roadmap for IT maturity leveraging ITIL.
Sandra is an expert in strategy and transformation services and brings over 25 years of experience working with top brands to accelerate growth and innovate new possibilities. She has worked across industries including healthcare, financial services, and media and entertainment. She works collaboratively with clients to understand their circumstances and encourage critical thinking, creative ideation, and problem solving. Her expertise is designing ideal customer experiences that promote authentic brand relationships.
Sandra got her start working with the premier strategy consulting firm, CSC Index, implementing re-engineering projects using protocols defined by James Champy and Michael Hammer. After several implementations of large scale, large dollar projects, she recognized that optimizing internal operations without market insight into what customers are thinking, feeling, and acting upon did not produce meaningful returns on investments. At The Concours Group, she co-founded the customer experience practice to connect the gap between internal strategy with external market changes.
Laura is a well-rounded business technologist with a passion for helping organizations transform their business through process automation, innovation, data, and technology. With more than 20+ years of experience, Laura has worked with companies ranging from small to Fortune 250, across multiple industries including construction & engineering at Jacobs Engineering, semiconductor at Tokyo Electron, Pharma and Professional Services.
Matthew has 15+ years of international experience leading organizations through change addressing issues of business and I.T. strategy, transformation, and operations improvement. Recognized as an independent integrative thinker that delivers solutions that create value with a particular interest in the use of technologies as an enabler of business strategies.
Matthew’s experience includes I.T. Strategy and Enterprise Architecture assessment for “Blue” Health Insurance Plan I.T. systems that provided $250MM in cost avoidance. He also developed I.T. strategy, architecture, prototype, and implementation roadmap for proprietary event-driven SOA platform to manage more than 1M transactions each month with an annual value in excess of $1 trillion for a Fortune 50 financial services company.
Mitchell has over 30 years of executive management experience delivering IT operations, SaaS & cloud business development, managed services, strategic assessments & transformation implementations. He lead large global IT organizations for some of the world’s leading companies. He has a track record of increasing operational efficiencies, improving customer service levels, strengthening business growth, reducing & controlling costs in an international setting. Mitchell has held responsibility for change, incident, problem and disaster recovery management for Dell and Oracle.
